Medina Danielle Oona Valbak (born Andrea Fuentealba Valbak, formerly Frederikke Hansen, November 30, 1982 in Risskov, Aarhus), professionally known as Medina, is a Danish-Chilean pop and R&B singer and songwriter. She debuted with the album Close on in 2007, but broke through with Welcome to Medina in 2009, from which the first single “Only for Me” from September 2008 became a big hit right into 2009, and was the best selling single this year in Denmark. She has won numerous awards at the Danish Music Awards and Danish DeeJay Awards, had 10 number one hits on the Danish single hit list and worked with artists such as Thomas Helmig, L.O.C., Burhan G and Kidd.
