Frank Hvam Nielsen (born 12 September 1970 in Ørum Sønderlyng) is a Danish stand-up comedian, screenwriter and actor.
He made his debut in 1995 as a stand-up comedian at Café Din’s in Copenhagen. At the same time, he became a writer on Mette Lisby’s show “Ugen der gak” on TV 2. In the spring of 1999, he hosted Alt Under Kontrol, a series of home video programs on TV3 written together with Mikael Wulff. That same year, he was invited by Casper Christensen and Lasse Rimmer to participate in DR2’s Casper & Mandril agreement, where he made his breakthrough. After the Mandrill agreement, he and Christensen were one of the main forces behind the sitcom series Far from Las Vegas on TV 2 Zulu from 2001 to 2003.
