Lasse Rimmer Nielsen (born March 26, 1972 in Aarhus) is a Danish stand-up comedian, screenwriter and TV and radio host.
As a stand-up comedian, he has a reputation for a high speaking pace and a tendency to improvise based on conversation with the audience. From TV, he is especially known as part of the comedy team behind the sketch program Casper & Mandrilaftalen, as host of the quiz program JEOPARDY! from 2000 to 2003 and as a newscaster in Live from Bremen. He is also known as the host of Morgenhyrderne on Radio 100FM. He is also known as “Danmarks klogeste komiker” after his IQ was measured at over 150 in a television program.
